Interested in finding new and unique ways of planting? Try Kokebana! This is a Japanese technique for hanging plants indoors without using pots of any sort, instead wrapping them with moss and strings.
Fern and & Foli will be conducting a workshop at Space 4 Us. The founder loves how flowers brim with life and colour, each one a unique yet fleeting work of expression that can highlight the mood and emotions during life’s special moments. Her passion for nature and the outdoors draws her towards loose, leafy, naturalistic designs. She likes working with her hands, experimenting with different materials, colours and textures to create pieces that captive and bring delight.
Sometime seven years ago, she stumbled into the world of flowers when she took up a part-time job at a tiny flower shop. With a background in architecture and years of experience in greenery design, floristry presented a refreshing alternative medium for expression. Bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, bridal cars, table embellishments or otherwise, she'll style for any occasion with detail, imagination and a big heart!
